FxD Coach Jay Francis' research, Defining Intensity Domains from the End Power of a 3-min All-out Cycling Test has been published in the September issue of Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise. Using a power meter equipped bike, a progressive resistance trainer, and a seriously intense three minutes of suffering, estimates for power versus time training zones can be created.

FxD Coaching has opened an office at 301 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH for testing services and client consultations. This location is easily accessible via exit 11 off of the Everett Turnpike (map). Hours are by appointment.

FxD athlete Andy Cooper had an impressive mid-pack finish for his first ever cyclocross race at Blunt Park.

FxD coach Jay Francis came in 4th overall at the 10-mile Moose on the Loose Trail Race in Nashua, NH. This race was designated the New Hampshire championship 10-Miler by the Road Runners Club of America. Jay was the highest ranked NH resident in the Male Master category, earning him a championship plaque.
